Behind the photograph

The image was created using light painting, with the car carefully illuminated by hand during a series of long exposures. The individual exposures were then combined to reveal the bodywork, racing details and distinctive silhouette with precise control over reflections, highlights and shadows.

Photographed in the same historic setting as the side-profile portrait, this frontal composition captures the imposing presence of the Porsche 962 from an entirely different perspective.
